unzippy
My smart TV knows it's now in Aus and all of the apps bar YouTube have disappeared. I use a Chromecast to get around it.

You can still pick up some Freeview channels, although the channel numbers will make no sense. Different tuners apparently. Netflix works on my Samsung. Worst case, you can buy a Chromecast 2 for less than 30 bucks. Then ask your Android phone to play such and such program on the Chromecast. It even switches your TV on and off. It's a half hour drive to Dan Murphys for us. OH pops in whenever we are in Launceston. I go to the Asian grocers whilst he gets the grog. unzippy
There's NBN in Hobart and the surrounds - my in-laws internet is significantly faster than what we have 20 mins from Melbourne CBD!

(Smithton, Scottsdale and Midway Point were the first NBN connections in Australia). Edited November 7, 2018 by Skani

Anything not owned for 12 months or intended for sale as new would yes. Thing is when we moved we had an 11 month old so everything for him was less than a year old but we didn't get charged for anything but then we only had some boxes opened for quarantine not customs so we will never know
