Oakers
My husband is a High school teacher in NSW. He migrated here from USA in 2016 it has taken 4 years of casual and temps teaching jobs in public schools to get his first part time permanant job, his job is in a private school. Teachers right out of college are lucky to pick up casual teaching jobs for years, not sure why they even have teaching as a job on the list ( many have been told there are jobs, but find out it's far from the truth) I can't speak for primary schools, but it's fact in High schools. Some tried to tell him PR's don't qualify for permanent jobs in schools, so if you have temp visa may not even get a look in as casual. There are many Australian teachers that have spent 4-6 years trying to get permanent work some even longer. It's simply a list of jobs, not of jobs actually available
