Ryder Cup, has to be the best watch in sport.

This has to be the best watch in sport without a shadow, what a contest.

Drinking rum before 11am does not make you an alcoholic, it makes you pirate..

Golf is a dying sport.

Middle aged and older men play it but I think it will die out now.It has no appeal to most people and too boring to watch on TV.

I want it all, and I want it now.

You are so brave behind the keyboard.

I doubt you would say it to an AFL player's face.

One kick at them budgie legs and they would collapse in a heap, I am 14 stone most look like 10 stone weaklings.

The average height and weight of AFL players is 6'2" and 14 stone.  So not 10 stone weaklings.  They are very athletic no matter what you think of them or the game.

Must have been the juniors playing on that video then.

AFL stats of 738 firsts and rookies give average weight 14 stone (89 Kg), and height 6’2” (188 cm).  Easy enough to look up

An AFL player would be much bigger and stronger than an EPL player that is certain.

I don't think you would insult Buddy if he walked into your pub.

Collingwood players were a bit pansie before the GF. Couldn't face the prospect of punching through the banner so had it fall down before they got there.

Felt for the supporters.  They put a lot of work into those banners

So back to the OP topic, just how do some topics get so off line?.

Well done Europe, great show. I must admit that I did record it and then fast forward a lot of it. Too long to sit watching it all the way through. Not good for the heart.

I didn't realise that there was quite a serious injury to one of the spectators. An Egyptian woman lost an eye after being struck by a shot from Koepka. Now talking about suing the organizers.

football and rugby are easy to play well, golf and cricket you honestly have to be born with good timing and some natural ability to play well.

What utter tosh.  Many top rugby and footballers are highly accomplished cricketers and golfers too.

As a young cricketer we had 4 of the Chelsea first team in our 1st XI.  Would not happen nowadays as elite sportsmen would not be permitted to play competitive cricket.
