Hi just after a little advice...

I am currently a year and a half into my 457, but I am really not getting on with my employer. I have found a potential new job, and will most likely be looking to transfer my sponsorship over pretty soon.

I would like to know, does my current employer find out what company I have moved to or once I hand my notice in and leave, is that it all finished with? I heard off someone my current employer has to sign my sponsorship over...not sure if that is true or not? Any help would be great, thanks

Your current employer will only find out what company you move to if you choose to tell them when you resign.

Thankyou. I was under the impression my employer had to sign some sort of release thing to transfer the sponsorship over ?
