Toots
Very unusual. Not what I imagine a brown snake to look like. So far - after all the years I've lived here - I've not seen a snake. I know they are around but most of them slither away when you approach them.
Guest The Pom Queen
There was a local report today of a snake biting a dog, they were panicking and asking for an ID of the snake, as usual you have all the google experts who ID’d it as a Eastern Brown but the worrying part was two Snake removal experts were arguing over what it was. I can’t find the post at the moment but this is a google image of the whip snake To be honest I think it is safer to presume all snakes are venomous. The one in your photo looks like the red naped to me, so it shows I have no idea. ‘The snakes are starting to appear again already. ‘This is a good ID guide for those in Queensland http://www.thesnakecatcher.com.au/venomous-species.html
