Mens shed for your husband? View club for you? U3A. Honestly the list is endless, and one of the nicest things is that people from all over Australia and the world settle here, so not as insular as many places. Marisawright
I would advise against seeking out other Brits because the risk is you'll spend all your time reminiscing about England, which will only make you feel less settled in Australia. http://lively50plus.com.au/index.php?SelectedRegionID=1 https://www.seniorsnews.com.au/news/community-notices-sunshine-coast/3303407/ https://u3asunshine.org.au/www/ https://mensshed.org/ http://www.qcwa.org.au Edited September 16, 2018 by Marisawright

Well worth attending to meet other newbies.
