Project/Program Administrator 511112 Qualification

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am just after some guidance around the occupation Program/Project Administrator (ANZSCO Code 511112). Has anyone received a positive outcome from VETASSESS for this occupation? I have the experience in this field, working as a Project Manager however I am unsure if my Australian qualification: Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Finance and Macroeconomics) will be assessed as positive. I did undertake Management units in HR, Strategic Management, Management Ethics & Corporate Governance and the list goes on, but just not sure if my qualification will be assessed as 'highly relevant'.

Appreciate any assistance on this!

Cheers,

Nate

Hi,

Wondered if you'd had any joy with your query?

I'm in a similar situation, as my current title doesn't really reflect my Project Manager/Administrative position.   I have a lot of experience, but not a relevant qual, e.g. Prince 2, but I have been on courses in Project Management  and in Continuous Improvement and I do have  a degree in Business and Marketing.  However, where does this leave me in terms of what PR visa to apply for?

If you have had contact, a recommendation of an expert would be appreciated.

Thanks and good luck

For a positive pre-migration skills assessment in this occupation the academic qualification does not have to be 'highly relevant' depending on the extent of relevant work experience.

May I suggest that you consult a registered migration agent for an assessment?

Hi,

Well how much work experience is needed? I read that 1 year is sufficient depending on the qualification?

Kind Regards,

One year is enough if the underpinning qualification is 'highly relevant'.

For your skilled occupation further years of highly relevant work experience can compensate.

This is to some degree on a case-by-case basis

I see, in your expereince, what are some qualifications that have been assessed as 'highly relevant' to this occupation? Will a Bachelor of Business/Commerce be deemed as highly relevant?

What might have been decided in other cases could be misleading, and often is.

May I suggest that you seek an assessment of your prospects?
