Armand de Klerk 0 Posted June 19, 2018 Good day I am looking for employment in Australia. I have Carpentry, Building Supervision, Sales and Marketing experience and my wife is a Lawyer. VERYSTORMY 3,320 Posted June 19, 2018 The starting point is here https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visa-1 Look at 189 and 190 visas. The first question is are you a qualified carpenter? If so, that is a suitable occupation, so you would need to look at the skills assessment requirements to check you can pass it. This is an assessment of your skills, qualification and experience. Then, you need to calculate your points You may need to take an exam to prove your English skills, this also gives points and so many people do it just for that.
