Doing it from Australia can be done although might be a little more expesnsive but I know that you can buy UK ETFs/Shares via: ANZ Share Investing (formerly E-Trade) Pershing (owned by CBA) Mason Stevens (although not sure if you have to be an institutional investor) Hope this helps.
