Hi everyone,

I’ve been sponsored to work in NSW on 190.

We were thinking about heading to Byron Bay.

My hubby could make good money in Gold Coast and it’s commutable so I was just wondering if he’s restricted to work in NSW as well, does anyone know ?

State sponsored visas involve a moral obligation to live and work in the nominated state for the first 2 years, it's not a legal obligation. We've got 2 sets of friends who moved to Perth on state sponsored visas and both relocated permanently to Sydney, with no issues, within 6 months of arriving in the country. If you're living in NSW and you're hubby works on the Gold Coast I very much doubt you'd run into any problems at all
