Guest Dougie & Louise Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 just spoted this thread so dont know if i have missed the ship??? but the luxary car tax has nothing to do with the age of the vehicle but what its worth in $$ but this is a very easy step by step guide and all you need to know http://www.customs.gov.au/webdata/resources/files/importguidePrivOwnMV.pdf think you will have to fork out the 4-500$ for steam cleaning thouu from what i read as they tend to say that it needs it no matter on how clean you think it is and then sting you for the fee before they release the car!!
