Johndoe Posted October 17, 2018 Author Share Posted October 17, 2018 . .Osprey House is on the North Side of Brisbane at Griffin (Murrumba Downs exit from Bruce Highway). Admission is free along with any lectures taking place at the time you visit. The centre is furnished with a large screen showing close up images transmitted from above the osprey nest and you can see the ospreys feeding and if you're lucky, see any brood. A couple of shots I got this morning of the male on returning from fishing. These two locations are my favourites and I visited them the other day but the birds were a long way off. As it is an offence to disturb them I just took a couple of shots from long distance and turned my hand to the landscape.
