Colleges Crossing has been completely rescaped since the floods wiped it out and makes for a nice day out with ample parking, lots of BBQ points, and a cafeteria.

.Osprey House is on the North Side of Brisbane at Griffin (Murrumba Downs exit from Bruce Highway). Admission is free along with any lectures taking place at the time you visit. The centre is furnished with a large screen showing close up images transmitted from above the osprey nest and you can see the ospreys feeding and if you're lucky, see any brood.

A couple of shots I got this morning of the male on returning from fishing. The fish was near as big as the osprey and the male always eats the head first before feeding the rest to it's young

Not the best of pics as I was shooting near vertical and the nest is 21metres high

Lota of migratory birds take a rest invarious loactions  brizzy during the months of sept to dec.

These two locations are my favourites and I visited them the other day but the birds were a long way off. As it is an offence to disturb them I just took a couple of shots from long distance and turned my hand to the landscape.

The re-development of Howard Smith Wharves is taking good shape. Along with the views from Kangaroo point, the brewery, and the excellent dining, this has to be the "in place" for the future
