Yes but the repeat the lie bit is a common tactic in politics surely? Not solely the domain of Trump , who can obviously appear delusional over any number of matters , but a trite paradox, is it not,  to suggest he is both stupid (which he is not) and cunning (which he most definitely is) ?

I don't know anything about him, in what way is he impressive? I watched that vid but anyone could have done that.

I googled him and it said he loves guns so he's got a good chance anyway.

He is a very impressive guy. Governor of Florida, reelected with a huge amount of support.

Done lots of great things for Florida.

Young, Charismatic, great communicator, a man of conviction.

If you have never heard of him. Start doing some research. Read The Washington Post and the NY Times online as I do.

If someone said to me, why do you like the guitarist out of RUSH (my fave band). I'd say, well I really like the solos and I like the way he uses different guitars to suit the mood of the songs.

The War on Woke is shaping up in all Right Wing politics and supporters minds as the way to win elections. Never mind that exactly what 'woke' is, remains a bit fuzzy in many minds. There are plenty of far more serious things to speak out about than social justice (even if hijacked at times) We are living in a world where freedoms are being increasingly curtailed, the bad guys are getting ever more influence in our democratic systems through greed and corruption, yet woke seems to be the focus of many.

Creating a phantom enemy is an age old political tactic.  Tell people that someone is coming to take away their lifestyle, their liberties, their culture. Transparent to many but if you repeat it often then low-engagement voters (and the hard of thinking) will be convinced. 

“Woke” is a prime modern day example. Millions are terrified of it. None of them can define it.
