Claireandlynn Posted March 26, 2018 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Hey guys. So I’m brand new to this forum and am looking for help for my mother in law. We have lived in Perth for nearly 10 years now and mum and dad came regularly to visit. Since dad died, mum has lost a lot of confidence. She is Coming in May for 3-6 months and if she enjoys is considering spending 6 months here and 6 in the UK. She is fit, friendly and very sociable, loves yoga and needs to be busy ALL THE TIME. So.... I’m looking for ideas on how she can meet new people, join new groups and basically have a better quality of life here with her family. Drumbeat Posted March 26, 2018 Share Posted March 26, 2018 She sound like a great MIL. There are lots of Meetup groups around Perth for all ages, some mixed some ladies only. Also your local Shire should have some information on community classes/interest groups. If she enjoys crafts there are lots of craft groups around too.
