What colours Can Dogs See

I wonder about this.  Mary, our old cattle dog always looked with great interest at any red car she saw.  We had a red car at the time which made me think she thought it was OH driving past.  She never paid attention to other cars - only the red ones.

That is interesting, @The Pom Queen. Always believed, and still do, that dogs prefer to use their sense of smell, rather than sight for objects on the ground. Of course, if there is movement, dogs focus on that. Always thought that dogs were only able to see shades of black & white.

Cheers, Bobj.
