Was just hoping for any pointers, who to speak to, who not to speak and any advice from anyone that has recently done this. Thanks a lot ? dxboz Posted March 25, 2018 Share Posted March 25, 2018 (edited) If you are trying to get a mortgage in Scotland whilst living in Australia - I tried this last year and found it impossible due to banking regulations between both countries. I tried everywhere - including brokers with no luck - even with having other investment properties and a 60% deposit. If the property had been in England it would have been ok.
