Possibility for 'Cafe or Restaurant Manager' to be back on the list in QLD

I just would like to know, as your estimation, do you think any possibility that Skilled Migration in QLD will issue more invitation for this occupation?

As far as I know, they will revise the occupation list every 6 months.

 AFAIK, once something is taken off the list, then it's usually years before it is added again

The skilled occupations you mentioned are quite distinct.

Which is your occupation of interest?

@Marisawright Thank you for your comment. But I think it does not usually take years. 

For example, correct me if i'm wrong, Property manager has been removed from the list in July 2017 (https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/WorkinginAustralia/Pages/summary-of-1-july-2017-changes-to-list-of-eligible-skilled-occupations.aspx)

But it has been added to the list again in Jan 2018 https://www.sbs.com.au/yourlanguage/punjabi/en/article/2018/01/17/your-chance-migrate-australia-2018-changes-announced-skilled-occupation-lists. 

So I just hope that me, working as a restaurant manager, will be able to apply for this visa in QLD since the list will be revised in 6 mnts. (this July, perhaps).

Hi @wrussell, as the title says, I would like to apply for Cafe or Restaurant Manager. It is still on the list. But here I'm talking about in Queensland where BSMQ will not be issuing any more invitations for EOIs lodged. (Link) 

I am on the process of skill assessment (submitted already) hope that once if they issue more invitations, I will be able to apply immediately.

I just hope that they will unpause it for Queensland state.

It's a pretty grey area and almost impossible to predict, as the lists are modified by the state to accommodate for skill shortages.
