Rumour of a deal simmo.

What do you reckon?

Why give Boris a deal, why not sit on the sidelines and watch it implode.

The Germans seem to have an efficiency gene built into them. Even notice it at the Aldi checkouts, so much quicker than the Australian owned places.

Staffed and run by Germans are they.😂

The EU have offered the same deal from the start. Or deals actually. There are many potential deals on offer. It's just taken Johnson a long time to realise they won't haggle. Now he has run out of time, he just needs to accept one. The problem isn't with the EU. The problem is with the Tory party. But even the super thickos there must realise they can't get more than what is on offer, and if they don't take it they won't get elected again for a very long time.

I think they will let it run down to the 15th. Possibly even beyond.

It will be the same as the withdrawal agreement.

But we will get a deal. And the deal will be the same deal they could have taken four years ago.

Apparently lidl isn't in australia yet - similar principle to aldi

We use Morrisons, sainsburys and aldi - but we have tried lidl and find it better than aldi

No but they train to their higher standards and their equipment is better at the checkout. Very quick and they don’t crap on to you ,just do their jobs.

Lidl  won’t come here, sadly. They were going to originally but decided it wouldn’t be profitable.

The difference is they don’t pack your bags in Aldi just scan and push along with next one.

They are so fast it's hard to keep up packing, and if you don't, everyone stares and tuts, and if you are too slow they start the next person while you are still packing.

At least they did before covid.

Not sure if they will survive without a delivery service.

Yep, I never quite considered the thickness quotien,  but then whe you look closely they do seem to have cornered the market, I mean could you sit thro endless meetings with Grayling, Raab or Paterson, and as for having Bridgen or Francois on your team you'd have to have an illuminated sign over your own goal to stop them putting the ball in it.

I mean, maybe it is that they are too thick to understand Keynes, I mean it doesn't take much to understand Adam Smith

that's nice...

I'm just a boy, standing in front of a girl, with an oven ready brexit deal.

Only problem is, the EU own the oven.

Oops.

Come on, where's that deal simmo, we're waiting.

Remember when Boris did the love actually sketch?

We're about as far away from that moment as we could possibly be.

How long ago was that moment? Seems like years.

Where's my deal simmo? I've got money riding on this.

Oops.

Come on, where's that deal simmo, we're waiting.

Unfortunately the EU have checked the oven ready bird and found that its laced with campylobacter, most probably the contamination was from a the birds gut due to insufficient seperation of waste from carcasses and undue reliance on washing carcasses at the end of the production process, which induces sloppy  adherence to hygiene rules due to over reliance on antibacterial washes which ultimately become overwhelmed when plants are processing thousands of birds every 24 hours.

So the EU are now insisting that any deal includes exclusion clauses for goods from certain countries which are deemed to be producers of low quality food in order that their food cannot cause outbreaks of food borne deseases which can cause pandemics in people and livestock on the continent of Europe, they are also concerned about Genetically Modified crops which can transfer certain genetic properties to other plants which may may make them into invasive species.

At the present time the EU is witholding access to its ovens and is recommending to its citizens that it should only buy foodstuffs and goods which clearly dispay EU certification.

It is unlikely that a deal will be concluded until these issues are resolved.

I can't help you this time jeremy.  If the EU don't want a deal I can't make them have it.  Sorry mate 😞

What was it David Davis said, 'easiest deal ever'

Dream on, the deal he got is still the same deal that Boris is choking on now 4 years later.

How much has this fiasco cost so far, the last ads campaign to prepare for customs controls cost over £10,000,000 alone and we haven't even printed the forms yet or built the website. What a shambles.
