CeeJayKav
Halo, i am proficient on the academic IELTS however wanted to rewrite the test and hopefully be come superior and receive more points on skills select. For the purpose of the EOI does it matter if the IELTS is general or academic? I am a a nurse and have already completed my skills assessment and APHRA registration using the results from the academic IELTS. I understand the general test is easier? Jsmull87
General IELTS is sufficient for EOI points.
RheaMARN1171933
Not sure if you've heard of PTE. That's another type of English test which is recognised by the department. IELTS and PTE are the two common tests used by applicants. The difference between them is the delivery. IELTS is more classroom based, the other is computer based. I always suggest my clients to read more about these two types and choose the most comfortable for them.
