caroline Selwood
Can anyone tell me how long you are allowed from the grant of your visa to when you have to be permanently living in Oz. I lodged my visa in 2010 and queue numbers seem to be moving now. Edited January 19, 2018 by caroline Selwood Add information
Tulip1
I am quite sure the 103 visas will take much longer than 8 years
Amber Snowball
This is the visa with a wait time of 30 years isn’t it , so even if the list is moving now it won’t be moving that fast. I think for other visas arrival is within 12 months of police or medical checks but by the time this visa is issued the rules might be different. Have a look at another thread called “103 is this visa a joke now” and a MARA agent Raul gives some figures.
MaggieMay24
When your visa is granted, it comes with 5 years of entry rights. So you need to either move before the 5 years are done, or you'd need to apply for a Resident Return Visa.
caroline Selwood
Oh are you sure, I thought that only applied to the Contributory Visa?
Tulip1
Why not have a look at the terms and conditions of the visa you applied for? I'm sure all that information is on the relevant website. You've got many years to search for it so plenty of time

Applies to virtually all PR visas, though of course it could change at any time.

You've got many years to search for it so plenty of time I know its some time since this was posted but the 103 queue only has 340 prior to 2010 which i think are all problem cases and they currently processing 2010. so the people who applied then are waiting 8 years or less . The 30 year quotes might be true in the future but they are not factual until they happen
