Aussiebird
Hi all, For anyone that has applied for this visa, can you please advise on the following? The pages i have printed are not specific in the requirements: "If you do not meet the residence requirement" - documents to show business ties, cultural ties, employment ties, personal ties. Are they requesting all of these or just whatever is applicable? In my husbands case, its personl ties. Proof of former permanent visa-the grant email of the visa or just the grant number? Personal ties documents: 1: birth certificates, 2: citizenship or 3: evidence of permanent residence of close family living in Australia, 4: proof of children attending school in Australia, such as school report, 5: proof of relationships with close family members who live in Australia, 6: proof of ownership of property in Australia, for example property contracts? Are these personal ties information relating to the close family members in Australia or when we lived in Australia? We didnt own a property in Australia, we rented. What proof of family members are required, it just doesnt specify exactly what is required and from who??? How does someone provide proof of a relationship with a close family member?? I dont want to complete this form all wrong and then its rejected and lose money. Does all evidence required have to be certified? Thanks so much. ali
Any of the ties are now - to show that you have those ties now (not previously) - e.g. relationship with a close family member - you need to prove what that is, how often is the contact, do they skype, has the person been over on holiday to see you, regular emails over the time that they've lived in different countries (this is a close tie to your husband .. not to you). Proof of your his ongoing relationship to you (as an Aussie citizen) joint accounts, property etc.,
