I need some information, hope your advice will make my decision easier, I have been granted visa 186, in the month November 2017, I want to leave my employer, so which way I can leave to him, just sent a resignation through email or different way. MaggieMay24 Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 There's no legal obligation to remain with your employer for any specified period of time after your visa has been granted, so you can simply resign. Still no response from immigration ... bit worried as its almost 10 months now. Any idea , how much time it will take ? Anyone in same situation ? I had a talk with immi officer today based in NSW, He checked my status and said My file si in Que and havent been allocated yet to any CO. And approx waiting time would be 12-14months for me from the date of lodgement. HE kept repeating this and mentioned about their less/low staff to treat each file. Hello ansun,, we applied under same occupation on 18 may 2017 .. our occupation is in mtsol , it should be processed fast .. but I have no clue why it’s taking such a long time .. We called the immigration last weeks, we been told to wait .. why don’t u call them and find out ??? let me know whatever happens to u ??
