sualg
Hi Guys, so im due to buy a nice second hand VW Golf tomorrow in Sydney. It’s got “Rego” till March next year. So my question is, does Rego also include CTP or do I have to purchase that separately before I can drive the car home? Don’t want to drive without any insurance! cheers luke
CaptainR
Yes, you should be given the CTP Green Slip and that is a transferrable document that remains with the vehicle through a change of ownership.

It seems to vary State to State but when you buy a car it will include CTP.

Lots of people only have the CTP insurance but its wise to have extra cover too. Cal x
