You should be uploading your payslips too to your file if you want to have a decidion-ready application.

If you don’t, they will ask for them once they open your file. From the payslip they will see not only how many hours weekly you’re rostered but also what your salary is (has to be as per the requirements, not less).

If you want to have a strong case you should be working full-time (on paper), otherwise it might seem as your position is not genuine and/or needed.

Full-time position and correct salary are crucial. 15 hrs per week is less than part-time even so you are basically applying for a visa with a casual position and making it easy for Immi to refuse your application.

Thank you so much for your reply,it’s very helpful :)

Hi,

187 DE visa N Nom 30 may 2017.

nothing yet..

anyone who applied for Chef onshore, does immi inspect on every work place or they just randomly pick and inspect?

What do they do when the inspect?

Ask straight away for the applicant or the owner?

Thanks.

I have a question. How come immigration processing ens (186) application with in 12 months but rsms (187)file taking more  than 22 months to process. Rsms applications have number 1 priority on the immigration website. Any idea.

Hey everybody,

Some days ago I finally received the good news, when I could finally breathe freely again, when my shoulders would not be so heavy anymore and my body and soul would become lighter.

I went through three different migration agents, so many up and down moments, hope and despair, balancing from keeping it on and giving it up, trying to look happy when I was feeling so miserable, and trying to make these 21 months of doubt more bearable and less dramatic, by convincing myself that in any case, it would be fine.

I have spent some long hours reading this thread, hoping, fearing, dreaming with all of you guys. But each situation is different, each work and life experience has its own specificities, and all we can do is hope for the best and keep trying until the answer comes through.

I applied for a 187 as a restaurant manager in Perth the 5th of August 2016, I got my RCB approved a week later, I updated the financial infos of the place 12 months later, my nomination got approved on the 28th of March 2018,  but I also got asked for a new medical assessment and a new police clearance (the ones I sent had expired), I sent the documents on the 9th of April, and finally on the 4th of May 2018 I got my visa approved !

Good luck to everyone!

As you can see from the previous posts the Immigration can call our employer and  in rare case, they can come in our workplace to check  on us and the company.

They can do whatever is on their power...

but I never heard  that it can happen if you are applying from overseas, it will be cheaper for them approve the Visa instead fly all over the world ?...

They do not fly across the world, but they have staff based at local High Commissions who may be asked to carry out visits.

Hi,

I applied for 187 visa last March for a full time cook position.

The business is slowing down and I'm not getting the required 38 hours per week. Sometimes I only get to work for 15hrs/week.

I messaged my MA regarding this matter and she said, under the current law, my employer is required to provide full-time employment in the nominated position for the next two years UPON VISA GRANT.

Will this affect my nomination?
