I must say, the gentleman over the phone was so polite and he answered most of the questions that I had for him. After saying my identification number and Transaction Reference number, my full name and date of birth... he told me that my file was allocated to a team after 11 months and soon a case officer will open the file. I don't know whether to feel happy, scared, anxious ... don't know what to feel anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seems like I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel.. hopefully we will hear something soon... fingers crossed for all of us guys! Ally89 Posted March 19, 2018 Share Posted March 19, 2018 (edited) I am a restaurant manager, applied from Perth 13 April 2017. Nomination hasn't been approved or refused yet. The number I called today was #########. My MA has provided this number to me in case I wanted to call them and ask myself. Looks like my file is in Melbourne! My employer strongly believe my visa should be approved as we do lots of money as profit each year. Is a busy tavern, with bar. Around 350 seats in the restaurant side and a big bar. Ally89 Posted March 19, 2018 Share Posted March 19, 2018 From my understanding.... they are trying to refuse as much as they can. Problem is that they are not giving valid reasons for it. Of course everybody who got refused are going to appeal to tribunal and more time is gonna take, more money is gonna be spent, etc... AAT also takes ages to decide whether a visa should be refused or approved. Honestly, I don't know if I get refused what I am going to do.
