Hi everyone,

what happens if, after few months of you getting your 187 approval your director of the business sells the business to some one and the new director takes incharge of the business. Are we still entitled to work with the new owner? As we had signed the contract with only the previous owner.

They are selling the business as it is like the name of the company also the abn number is same.

Hi Everyone,

I applied RCB, nomination and visa altogether on the 8/11/2019, about a week before the scheme was closed. RCB was approved yesterday, 06/12/2019 and it was given me 28 days to do the health examinations and provide my partner’s English score, which we were not expecting to be required now.

Does the timing sound about right?

Hi,

Yes these times do sound right! When the request further information you only have 28 days to provide it! The Medical results once you complete it should only take about 3 or 4 days to be uploaded onto the Immigration site. Good Luck!!

Hi guys,

This forum has gone so much quieter since visa 187 has been abolished..

Just checking, how long does it take for visa to come through once nomination has been approved?

Rough idea????

That's really great and strange, It's mean COs are working on Sundays too.

Hopefully, we will get decisions more quicker than before.

As I know not all the CO working from aus, a lot of them are working from other countries, for example in my country weeknd is in Friday only and sat and Sunday is just normal week day’s. So it might be that case.

I think If you have already submitted all required documents including form 80 and police certificate then whenever CO open your file you might get direct result. Before this visa use to take 10-24 months, but now it’s pretty quick. All you have to do is wait.
