Guest
Cheapest may mean longer route/less well known airline/stopovers. Work out where you are prepared to fly from and to and then use sites like Skyscanner to see what comes up. We prefer certain routes even if these means more of a cost. kellief
Great thanks Is the Singapore stop off the most common / easiest route? Collie
Not really, depends on where you are going. Singapore airlines are very highly rated and is you are going to do a city stopover, I would pick there or Hong Kong. You will need to do a stop somewhere in Asia or the middle east (although London-Perth direct starts with QANTAS next year). Most common are Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Qantas through the middle east (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha), or through Asia, Singapore, Bangkok, KL or even through China (Hong Kong or other chinese cities). Lots of options from London. Skyscanner or kayak best IMO for assessing across the options. I travel to/from Dublin and tend to favor Etihad, avoids a 2nd stopover (LHW, CDG etc)
Guest The Pom Queen
I know Scoot do fares to Athens for $369 or to Singapore for $139 I don't know how much the U.K. Leg would cost though
