jamiec Posted July 5, 2017 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Hello all, I have a 417 work and holiday visa which expires in a few weeks. My partner has a 457. I would like to become a secondary applicant on her 457 visa but I'm not sure how to do it. We have a letter from her employer agreeing for me to be a secondary applicant on her current visa Do I apply for a new 457 through my immi account or do we apply through her account? I thought it might be the subsequent entrant application in her immi account but since I am already in the country on a 417 visa I'm not sure if this is correct way to do it. Newintown17 Posted July 6, 2017 Share Posted July 6, 2017 My partner and I were both on 417 W&H visas, then my employers offered to sponsor me and so my partner was included in my 457 application. I also have friends who have recently been in your position, they also applied through the 457 holder's visa. It may be an idea to consult with a Migration Agent to ensure it all goes smoothly?
