dxboz
It is night time in Australia and most folk would be asleep. You might get some replies in our morning however you might want to expand a bit on your initial post. What do you do for a job and how old are you? 'Hard to give advice with no background information Edited June 19, 2017 by dxboz
VERYSTORMY
Generally, visas are based on occupations, which are in turn are based on qualification / skills and experience. If you can tell us your occupation, age and if there is anything that might complicate things such as anyone with medical issues or criminal records we can give a lot better help

VERYSTORMY
The nearest occupation I can find that may be eligible is Contracts Administrator. However, this occupation is only on the short term list, which means some form of sponsorship would be needed, either state or business with state being by far the better. Two states are sponsoring it, but both have a lot of conditions, including that you have a job offer. The other option is your wife and her hairdressing as that is available for independent migration - doesn't need a sponsor. However, in order to pass a skills assessment, she would normally have had to have been working full time in it for at least 3 of the last 5 years. My advice therefore is to speak to a good registered migration agent to see if you have any options, but at the moment it isn't looking great
