A fire that intense, they must have been thinking the whole thing could come down without warning. They are truly brave souls. And they still do it, day in day out, despite the austerity they have had to put up with. We can't commend them enough. I agree and I just hope that they have access to some very specialised counselling as they will be on a strong pathway to suffer from PTSD otherwise. Of course they would, ISIS have killed far more Muslims than they have any other faith, they are either the wrong kind of Muslim, or not Muslim enough for those bastards.

simmo
Grenfell claimed another victim. Just met some people from Bouygues UK the builder of a tower block in Kilburn we were Employers agent on. The client has instructed us to manage the replacement of the cladding. We had the Architect at a meeting a couple of weeks ago and he was complaining about the amount of pressure he has come under as Principle designer of some blocks under investigation, he looked unwell TBH.. Now I have just been informed that after our meeting he died of a heart attack!. This whole blame culture and knee jerk finger pointing is starting to really p!ss me off. I am lucky in that i don't absorb pressure and have a built in mechanism where i dont take stress home.. but this has made me quite annoyed. Say what you want about his politics, but he has more compassion in his little finger than the entire Tory party.
