Clowalt Posted June 11, 2017 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Hello We are currently preparing to do the 189 skilled visa. I am an occupational therapist. I have booked my English speaking test and will soon be completing a criminal record check both for in England and here. Once lodged we will also be completing the BUPA medical check. Can anyone please advise if my partner needs to undergo these tests as well? As he will be de facto on the visa. He does not hold a skilled occupation himself. VERYSTORMY Posted June 11, 2017 Share Posted June 11, 2017 If he is a British passport holder then he won't need an English test. However, everyone including children who are on the application must have a medical. I would not do medicals until the case officer requests them.
