Does anyone know if Lalor, Roping and other suburbs are OK? Hubby will be working in cbd and wants to commute on train. Happy to be up-to an hour commute. Guest The Pom Queen Posted May 11, 2017 Share Posted May 11, 2017 It's quite a few years since I lived in Melbourne but Lalor wasn't a great suburb, not totally bad but not perfect. A lot could have changed since I've been away. Back then it was Eltham that was the in place. The South East is lovely if you have children.
