Adelaide - jobs/ housing young family

Hi everyone,

Me and my hubby (2 children also 3 and 6 months) are considering moving to Adelaide, my hubby is a business analyst and I am a project manager, there seems to be lots of job availability on seek.com.au but is this the reality?

We have a budget of around $800k for a house, that would be top range. Were looking for an area with good schools/ nurseries. Low crime rate ect and good commute (under 45 mins by either train or car) does anyone recommend anywhere?

My hubby is Australian from Melbourne, and I am UK (leeds area) has anyone settled here from the UK and found it easy to make friends and settle in?

Thank you x

Can't answer the main body of your post because I'm inQld, but despite what is oft quoted on this forum, IME Ozzies are very easy to get on with and make friends. The fact that your partner is Aussie should make it so much easier
