josierainbows Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Hi, I have a query, myself, partner and 19 month old child were granted our 189 visas last October. Myself and my partner activated ours separately through work and a family occasion, however our child's has not been activated. Due to unforeseen family circumstances our plan of migrating this year will have to be delayed until next year. Does anyone know what will happen if our child's visa is not activated before October ? Thanks for any help with this

josierainbows Posted May 4, 2017 Author Posted May 4, 2017 Thanks Nemesis, I accidently posted the query twice.
path2aus Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 I would suggest to make another trip if possible (Probably both or one of you) with the child before his/her entry date expires, I wouldn't recommend going the Child Visa route if you don't have to. It is real pain and you would have to do every thing from Police check for yourself and Medicals for the child if the initially obtained ones are more than a year old.
