China

Australians can find great value in China, where the average cost of a flight from Australia has decreased 37 per cent compared to last year, to $591, and the average cost of a hotel is 10 per cent cheaper, at $151 on average per night.

Sri Lanka

With a number of new luxury resorts moving in, the island’s unspoilt coastal areas and lush landscapes are a great place to take advantage of if you want to get more bang for your buck. Hotel prices are down by just four per cent, to $168 on average per night, but flights have fallen by 23 per cent year-on-year, to just $613.

Singapore

If you’re looking for an Asian escape, Aussies should consider Singapore over Hong Kong. It’s 64 per cent cheaper to fly to Singapore from Australia, at $524 for a flight, compared to Hong Kong’s $864 for a flight.

London

Good news for Australians travelling to London, while it has seen an increase in demand by six per cent, Australians can still bag a great deal with flight prices from Australia to London decreasing 14 per cent and average hotel prices decreasing six per cent.

Europe

To get better value for money on your trip to Europe, think about travelling to the Nordics like Helsinki, where flight prices from Australia to Helsinki are down seven per cent or to Scotland where flight prices from Australia to Edinburgh are down 22 per cent. Another option is to catch a bargain flight to Berlin, where average cost of a flight from Australia to Berlin has decreased 19 per cent.

United States

If Aussies want to snag-up a deal to the US, we suggest you fly into these less popular destinations like Houston as flight prices from Australia have decreased by seven per cent or San Francisco as flight prices from Australia have decreased by eight per cent.
