457 ending in july 2017

Hi Guys,

my 457 visa is ending in july 2017 for the occupation which is on the second list now, my company is sponsoring me again but my question is , will i be able to get temporary residence transition next year july when i "ll be completing 2 years with my employer??

For how many years have you worked on 457 with the same employer if you have completed 2 years with same employer on 457 I think you can go for 186 or 187 if regional why do apply for PR over 186 before they change the visa requirements more in future

According to the reforms, effective March 2018 your occupation would need to be on the MLTSSL in order to apply for a 186 visa.

but temporary residence transition scheme doesn't require Skill assessment,  will I still be affected?? the thing is i have already worked for 1 year under my current employer who took over my 457 from my past employer last year, so overall exhausted 4 years on 457 and now it's up for renewal in July.
