VERYSTORMY Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Have a look at the two occupation lists known as SOL and CSOL on border.gov.au to see if your occupation is on there - note some occupations have slightly different names.
Earlofdon Posted April 16, 2017 Author Posted April 16, 2017 Thanks for replying. My occupation is on the CSOL[emoji846]Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz
VERYSTORMY Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Then the next thing you need to do is check if any states are sponsoring it by checking each states list as occupations only on the CSOL require some form of sponsorship and state is preferable to business. Alao check the requirements for passing the skills assessment. This will stipulate what the minimum qualifications are how much experience is required.
Earlofdon Posted April 17, 2017 Author Posted April 17, 2017 Can apply to Tasmania for a Visa Subclass 190 or Visa Subclass 489. It's as clear as mud at the moment thoughSent from my iPhone using PomsinOz
VERYSTORMY Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 So, the first thing is lots of reading at border.gov.au and then at the requirements for the skills assessment. A skills assessment is mandatory for permanent visas and is an assessment for your qualifications - in detail and experience. Legal proffessions can have additional hurdles and it may be wise to speak to a good registered migration agent.
