Has anyone ever done this? How much did you save? how complicated was this process? what companies did you use? ScottieGirl Posted April 22, 2017 Share Posted April 22, 2017 I just moved Sydney to London. I used a removals company as physically there was no way I was packing it all. The cost was $330 per cubic metre so you can use that to compare costs. You will also have to factor in boxes and bubble wrap which were included in my costs. My stuff was extremely well wrapped, they had 2 m long industrial rolls of the stuff. Customs are more likely to check owner packed consignments and if they do that will incur fees.
