My ENS 186 is through labour agreement. Nomination was lodged on 20th November, and approved 18th February through the Parramatta office. I submitted application 8th February, but am about to book medicals ready so hopefully decision will be quicker. There is a case officer on the nomination approval, does anyone know if this is the case officer for application as well?

Congrats tracy racy at least now you are 1 step close to pr hope it wonot be long now !

we are on the same boat

I got the approval of nomination on Jan 2014

and submitted the 186 visa application on Feb 2014

I received the ACK letter 10 days later,

and there is a case officer name at the end of the letter

the same person with the nomination co

so I think there should be the same co

i submitted around 2 weeks,

nothing news except the ack letter.

Long time anxious watcher of this thread, so it's time to share my experience:

Nomination submitted: 01/07/13

Nomination approved: 29/08/13

Application submitted: 06/09/13

CO assigned: Early December sometime (Parramatta Office)

No contact whatsoever since. I've sent numerous emails, made numerous phone calls to try find out what my pregnant wife needs to do about her medical, as she can't do the xray but haven't been able to get a straight answer. We live in wait, for now at least :(

Hey caomhin

are you still waiting?

The waiting is really starting to get to me! Has anyone had any approvals from Perth recently?

Here's my timeline:.

ENS 186 Perth | temporary transit | MA DRC

12/07/2013: Employer nomination submitted

04/10/2013: Application lodged (all documents )

04/10/2013: Acknowledgement letter received.

07/11/2013: Nomination approved

I hope I have some news soon. My MA says she wont chase as its not been 6 months. Does anyone know if the clock starts ticking from nomination lodge date or visa lodge date? I cant seem to get a straight answer....

:mad::mad:

I think it should be visa lodge date

My nomination was lodged on 28th June, 2013

Visa lodged: 28 Aug, 2013

186 Direct stream, currently on the 457

Melbourne office

No news yet. The wait is getting more frustrating by the day! Thought I'd share my timelines.

Cheers

I wonder as a 457 holder and apply 186 through 186 direct entry

do you need to submit the tax payment for your salary in aus?

thanks

I started to visit this forum from last week. Most of posts of time line have no nomination job and original nationality indicated, which actually are some factors for PR application approval time line, should be helpful for each individuals to estimate the timline. Really hope the poster can consider this input.

I've written down the last few approvals I've seen posted and then calculated days and weeks. These average 138 days / 20 weeks, taking out the outlier, they average 106 days and 15 weeks.

Is it technically correct that DR applications are considered first? I lodged my 186 non-dr on 6 November and my friend lodged on 8 November for same visa but DR, they had a request for missing information last week (which is a good sign as at least it's being looked at!).

I haven't heard a thing. This normal??

bah, they still need to finish the november ones! no, that is obviously good news for december folks but the seemingly randomness of how DIBP gets through these applications is so frustrating

I know its frustrating ,me and my mate we applied same day on 6 dec 2013 ens 186 transition stream in parmatta ,and now his case has been allocated to co and his co asked for more documents from his employer hope he will submit today but I havenot heard anything yet hope some news soon and also I heard that pramatta has transferred most of their cases to melboure and Perth office those who belongs to October
