Congrats... when did the asked for medical??? were there any changes on the status online during application process??/

Hi mikepat,

My agent told me to do the medical after a couple of months of waiting (he just said that you may as well do it to get it out of the way!)

There was no change in the online status - it just said 'in progress'. (which isn't very helpful!!!)

Thanks - That was low risk country of residence .

My lawyer send me an email about this that low risk application are processed faster.

Yeah, that's the theory... However, reading this forum over the last few months has taught me that there's no real rhyme or reason to the order in which the visas are processed!...

Well done Tabbo! Congratulations!

I am still waiting on my although my employer nomination was approved last Tuesday (29th Oct) so it shouldn't be too long from now.

There seems to be a few August applications being granted at the moment which is a positive sign.....I lodged on the 15th of Aug.

Hi all

I am new 186 lady :)

Timeline so far...

Nomination lodged 6 November 2013

Application lodged 7 November 2013

Not lodged Police or medicals yet...will wait to be asked I think!

Everyone is talking about which office they lodged their applications. Maybe I was a bit silly but I didn't see it on the online form...or does it get decided from your location? I am in Brisbane. I have no Migration Agent.

Thanks :)

Hi Bonza - congrats on your grant that's so quick!

I only lodged my nomination and application yesterday. In your timeline you say that your employer lodged their BAS statement. BAS wasn't listed in the checklists as needing to be lodged. Do you think I should lodge it anyway? If so how many statements did your employer lodge?

Thanks :)

Another question...can't you all tell I'm new hehe.

Only lodged yesterday and I've just been online to submit some further documents and it gave me access to the "organise your medical examination link". So i've printed the forms.

My question is - should I go ahead and book my medicals in now and submit then or should I wait for the CO to ask for them?

Thanks :)
