Excellent. We just got a reply today from a query we sent on friday morning (Australia time) regarding s56 and now we know we only have 1 thing to do (another statutory declaration) we think it’s should be nailed down the next week or so. My partner’s employer at WA Health was contacted today as well to say that the visa from a work perspective has been approved. My statutory declaration is being notarised this “arvo” and I’ll scan and attach to immi account then and hopefully that’ll be it.

Where are you guys moving to? We’re off to Perth.

Hi,

I did submit the Malaysia PCC initially, but it was not in Ministry of foreign affairs letter head. Since it was collected here in Australia thru their embassy, it was in High Commission Malaysia letter head.

I think it is based on case officer, because I have been submitting the similar PCC for my 482 Visa.

My parents and sisters applied their PR by submitting the Malaysia PCC collected in Perth Consulate and got their grant, I think the assessment depend on individual CO.

Btw got my golden email today.

Same here more info submitted Monday last week. I believe it could take between 45-60 days for grant so I'm not holding my breadth for quick turn around otherwise I will lose the plot.

I just logged on and realised even though I’d submitted the documents and status received that there’s a little blue box at the bottom of the screen to say you submission of al info confirmation. I missed that and have now clicked it. That’s probably cost me a week!!! Anyway most of your probably know but I’m usually quite meticulous and missed it, so thought I’d share in case anyone else has. Visa now says final assessment

If you don't mind me asking how much time were you given to submit more information, was it 28days or 14.

I wouldn't worry too much about losing 7 days because apparently the s56 request more info usually gets dealt with after the expiration of the deadline

Hi Guys

Anyone here in the group did their own visa application for 186 Trt without an agent ??? Need help

Thanks

The 186 is an employer-sponsored visa.  The employer has to prepare a lot of paperwork, and it must be exactly right, otherwise your application will be rejected.

If the employer is not very experienced in preparing 186 applications, they are very likely to make errors and that will destroy your chance of getting the visa.  Therefore it is absolutely essential that your employer uses an agent to prepare their side of things.  You can then use their agent, or find your own, or do your part yourself.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has an idea how long it takes, generally, for a request for information to be reviewed? I was asked for additional employment history which I returned a couple of weeks ago. I called the call centre but they don’t provide a timeline beyond the general visa timelines.

Our visa is now sitting at further assessment and we don’t know if we should be prepping to go or just sitting back waiting for another the long wait.

Hello guys,

Anyone with the same occupation waiting for their grant? I'm a Marketing specialist and have applied for 186 TRT on Feb 3, 2022. Still received status.

Would like to know if anyone has the same timeline as well.

That’s great news, I’m an RMN in the U.K too, currently in the process of getting my future employer to get everything ready to submit the nomination application.

Can I ask, do you know if your sponsor is an accredited sponsor or not? I’m trying to figure out if the government health providers (NSW Health, QLD Health, etc) nomination applications are processed faster than the independent health providers......
