I got nominated by my university last year (March 2018), and submitted my application in April 2018.

Got my nomination approved on the 22nd of Feb 2019, but haven't heard anything else from the Department. Hopefully i hear from them sometime soon!

Hopefully soon, if you look at the spreadsheet, uni lecturers are one of the few jobs that have a very quick result. Hang in there!

Hi All,

Questions for Software Developers.

My nomination is approved for Developer Programmer and I have ACS certificate for Analyst Programmer.
Shall I apply visa for Developer Programmer or Analyst Programmer.

The previous application refusal has made me very concerned about all these things now.

thanks

@@dream_aus Personally, if you have an approval for Dev Programmer, then I would suggest you lodge visa for that.

If you change to Analyst Programmer, you would risk a delay (nomination would need to be re lodged) and risk of refusal (as to why you changing nomination for the same applicant).

Just got my golden email this morning, one day after posting this. What a coincidence!

The processing time was indeed 13 months. Haha.

Great news this morning, golden email came through both nomination and visa granted on the same day had checked out at 8.30 still said received and then got an email from my MA at 9:10 saying it was approved.

9.5 month wait in the end, not the worst but glad it appears new applications won't have to wait as long as it can be quite nerve wrecking at times.

Timeline updated.

No I didn't the famous email.

Congrats mate, have you got the famous email on April?

Didn't get that email. The only email I got after applying was the one saying my nomination was approved.

Didn't get any requests for additional documents either. My status went from "Received" to "Finalised" straight.

Can someome pls suggest me what details should i include in my email to immigration like my application Id or my passport no. Finally decided to complain.

Good luck with your complaint.

Out of interest, on what grounds are you complaining on? Is it just to do with how long you have been waiting?
