Any pastry cooks/cooks approval recently?

It's so disheartening  I applied since June 2018 but have not received the email that everyone has been talking about and am starting to get worried

My occupation has been transferred to the short term list and I cant help but wonder if this means that they are no longer accepting cooks!!!

Hello..

My child medical examination 501 processed on the spot ......after left from the medical examination Clinic ,, I found on immi ..no action required..

you should call to clinic ,where you have done the examination..

Just be patient mate ...

please do not wonder a lot which will give you only stress...

you will get once the time will come..

make sure provide all necessary documents, police clearance .whenever CO will assigned ,,, you will get straight grant..

Same here.. Last Wednesday I completed my medical.  Our medical is updated but waiting for my daughter.  Hope today Will clear.  Thx

@John007 This is not about child / adult. 

The medical processing times are listed as 5 business days for processing. In your case, it's only been 2 and they may have already started with yours (hence, it being updated).

My suggestion is to sit tight and wait out the 5 working days. 

I did 2 sets of exams: first set took all 5 days (for entire family to show through), 2nd took only 3 days. 
- Worst thing is trying to speed up something by watching it, give it the 5 days, then look

@Vivien There have been a few cooks granted lately - one even really quick! 

I suggest you go back a few pages (±10-15) and start reading through the threads, there should be at least 2 - more if you go further back. 

Be patient, they have to review your application, unfortunately with Cooks it's sometimes heavily interrogated as high risk (not all cases). Stay strong, it'll come!

@PB10 One other thing worth mentioning (in addition to my post above, answering this).
Is that sometimes the Medicals are through and complete, however, the system is notorious for not displaying all medicals. 

Again, my suggestion is to  wait the 5 working days, and if it's still not up there - not to worry as if something is wrong, they (medical) will call you. 
- If after 5 working days, something is still not displayed, it's likely to be a system issue (the data is there, just not displayed in the Immi account)

I had my medicals done on Friday and I now see this message in my Immi account:

Examinations ready for assessment – no action required

The required health examinations have been completed and submitted by the panel clinic to the department. This person's case will be processed or referred to the department's migration medical services provider, Bupa Medical Visa Services, for further assessment.

But under my partner's name it says this:

Health clearance provided – no action required

All health examinations required for the specified visa subclass have been finalised. Processing of this person's visa application can now continue. This will not occur until a case officer investigates the case in line with published processing times for the visa that has been applied for. Do not contact the department about health examinations in the meantime.

Does anyone know what the message under my name means?

This means that your medicals are still under process and will be updated shortly or it's being reviewed. Give it a try after 1 day it will be same as your partner's. It was the same case as mine.

It feels as though people are missing what I'm telling them, with regards to the Medical timeline.

- You need to allow 5 business days for results to reflect, any questions about same before then are irrelevant, see this snippet from the BUPA site:

I've been following this discussion for a while now, but just thought I'd share some good news and give some people hope as it can sometimes be processed quickly.

Our PR was granted today, but amazingly we only put the application in on 24th March.

 

Here is my timeline:

Occupation: Sales manager
State: NSW
Birth Country: UK
Stream: 457 - 186 TRT
Number of applicants: 4
ENS 186 Visa and Nomination applied:  March 24th 2019
-- Nomination approved on the 30th April 2019
Visa Granted on the 30th April 2019
IMMI Status: Finalized

Keep positive. It will happen eventually.

I requested to my lawyer for my wife vac invoice, he already made it and date updated also that day , is that co waiting for complete medical to send invoice. ? My lawyer said to get invoice need few days. Thanks in advance

Congratulations!  I'm very similar timelines to you- I applied a few days after you did- Marketing specialist also from UK and now in NSW. 

Did you have the S56 request for further info? We got this less than 48 hours after applying which means the case officer is looking at it. submitted the final police checks and medicals two weeks ago and status is 'Further assessment'

The company I work for isn't that large to be honest. Theres only about 50 people who work for the company and that's it. They have nominated people previously but the most recent was over 10 years ago.

No we didn't get any requests for further info.

 

We completed our medicals last Wednesday and I logged in last night to my Immi account and it showed the medical results as received but my visa application status just showed as Received. I was completely shocked when I got the email at 8am this morning to say it had been granted.

Hi everyone, 

My family member got the golden email this morning and her 186 visa application has been finalized. For details please check my signature. After we received the "decision maker" e-mail I initially didn't think it would actually happen so fast but it turned out I was wrong. Since we applied in June we expected the visa to go through in late July or early August. I remember being upset at the projected 16-19 month waiting times but luckily we only waited 11 months. We are obviously happy about our situation but cannot help but feel guilty knowing that there are people out there waiting well in excess of the projected average wait times. I can empathize with your situations although I cannot offer any real solution, I just hope the government can do a better job to end this needless suffering. Thank you for all the help. Being able to compare timelines with all of you kept us motivated and able to focus on our future.

Just wondering if any technical sales representative who have recently applied for ENS 186 TRT from 457 (grandfather agreement). Would be applying soon for PR under 186 TRT,  looking to clear some concerns.

How sad is it and biased that some people getting approval in two months it’s like powerball lotto, no fairness in the system. I haven’t been waiting for long but they way things are happening Scott Morrison wants to stop immigrants, it will definitely affect the processing . They have taken the money but still no results, you just have to wait for some case officer to have approval for your life . Every government change they want to target immigrants I have wasted my youth in this country can’t even think about to go back . Elections will definitely affect the processing time if liberal wins processing time will be forever . You can’t even ask anybody what to do and what’s happening . When money was deducted it was straight away no waiting time on it , I wish they had deducted the money the way they process the applications. God bless everybody for there patience.

Keep patience you applied in Dec I applied in July 2018 still nothing but hope for the best.. don’t worry

@Jerita You only lodged ±4 months ago, imagine how the people feel that have been waiting 2+ years. 

You are still well within the time frame and with a "high risk" occupation - unfortunately, you'll need to sit back and be patient, they will get to your case.

Hay Hex I understand about the patience. I am in this country from last 9 years and patience is the only thing I am more than qualified and have learned in this country. I just want to get over with this feeling of waiting and get over with it.
