Just to add to this. You would only need to pay excess medicare levy if you earn over a certain amount per year. Cant remember the exact amount but its worth looking up. You can do it electronically in 5 minutes just by sending and receiving emails. But it takes 20 working days to process. I suggest we just do it six monthly and upload to our application. We applied may 2017...marketing specialist... nomination approved june2018... after that... a nightmare started... the case officer said that everything was ok and just the police checks were required...so we ended with 3 diferent case oficers asking for things with no sense, already uploaded. . If it was off a document request, it could be within 35 days - based off "initial assessment" applications that have received and uploaded requested documents.
