Got my Golden email just now from my MA.

Visa granted yesterday, 21/01/2019!!

I am in tears! Years of uncertainty are finally ended!

No additional documents asked. Everything has been provided in Fed 2018.

Now you can focus on real-life problems. Thanks for contributing your timeline for the rest of us. It gives a good idea of how the application processing is moving along.

Attention - Important notice to all people required to provide NZ police clearance certificate or Criminal record certificate.

I have been in touch with NZ MOJ and they have confirmed that they still process and provide verification of NZ police clearance certificates/ Criminal Record Certificates to AU IMMI as long as the certificates are no older than 6 months. Furthermore, they confirmed that the verification process take no longer than a week.

Since then I have contacted my case officer and I think I have found out what went wrong .. The consent form provided to NZ MOJ for verification was for an older criminal record check (expired/ older than 6 months); therefore, it was rejected and I was asked to provide new checks and consent forms.

This has been rectified without the need to obtain new checks.

In conclusion, NZ police checks/ criminal records within 6 months old are still valid.

Any restaurant manager got approval recently?

Hey @Kashif.Iqbal , unfortunately I haven't seen any recently; just take a look back through previous pages, things have slowed down a little for all professions

My lawyer told me he is expecting big change in immigration this january.

Just wondering what this big change was, and whether your MA had insider knowledge, or is it just a rumor/hearsay?

Hey guys, I got my company nomination approved yesterday. I applied on 28 February 2019. How long does it usually take to get the Visa granted after getting the nomination approved?

Completely varies, a couple of my friends had Nomination and VISA approved the same day, others it can take a couple of weeks, some even longer.

I am been waiting from almost 11 months even though my nomination was approved. So tough to say.

It looks like you didn't submit Nomination and VISA at the same time, which is pretty common amongst people who have quick approvals. But yea, it is tough to say. There is a lot of factors I'm sure which come into play.

One reason of that is because you're visa was lodged after your nomination was approved. It seems like for cases where all of the lodgements (nomination + visa) are done at once, the time gap between the 2 grants isn't as long.

Yeah, it all depends to case by case.

My 186 visa was granted today. Feel free to add to the spreadsheet:

Occupation: Developer Programmer
State: VIC
Country: HR
Stream: 186 TRT
Number of applicants: 1
Nomination and Visa applied: Feb 20 2018
Nomination approved: Dec 12 2018 (notified by MA)

The status on the IMMI website was showing up as Received until the visa was granted, when it changed to Finalized straight away.

Best of luck yall.

Anyone has any information on how they are planning to get on top of the old applications ? Have been waiting almost 1.5 years and even though they seem to process faster now, the 10% outside processing times is completely left in the dark.

Hey guys,

For those who’ve been through training benchmark A, how did you guys prove that the training was given to PR and Citizen staffs? I am thinking of getting a letter from the person who gave us a seminar for TB A. Any better ideas?

Thanks in advance
