Following this forum really helped me  in the last couple of months when the waiting took a toll on me. It keeps me looking forward knowing people who are in the same boat as me are slowly getting their 186 visas.

Hang in there and stay positive about the process. I believe everyone here will get a taste of freedom when it's your turn.

Good luck and God bless!!

Guys, can u change location (from sydney to Melbourne) but stay with the same company in the same role, even when still awaiting 186 ENS grant? TRT186

As far as I remember somewhere reading the law it was also mentioned "at the same location". But I do not remember exactly, whether it applies to the time period you had to work to apply for TRT, or for the whole process.

Happy to announce that my nomination was approved day before yesterday. However the CO requested for police checks from another country which expired last month and medical checkups to be done. Need 3 weeks to get police check. Just done medical son Bupa.

At least it is not received anymore. Hopefully the golden email will follow soon.

Hello all,

have been reading this forum for months, but never post anything. Today is my 15 month anniversary, applied nom+visa 03/08/18 as a restaurant manager through DE...

it doesnt look like they are very keen to take any restaurant managers in.... as I slowly see march approvals coming in I feel my file is just lost or something!

I don’t know if you can change it during your wait time, but I got my 457 visa while I was working in TAS, and then company offers me permanent position in VIC, my MA said that this not a problem as I still working for same company on same position. I just had to apply for 186 visa instead of 187.
