Low risk country, family of 5. Nomination application submitted: 18/8/2017 Visa application submitted: 14/2/2018 (other half made redundant so couldn’t wait any longer for nomination to be approved, decided to risk the $10k fee - eek!) Nomination approved: 20/7/2018 and medicals requested Medicals carried out: 24/7/2018 Application moved to ‘Further Assessment’: 2/8/2018 Visa granted: 20/8/2018 I logged in at 11am this morning and last update was still 2nd August, got the golden email at 12.42pm! So nomination took 11 months and visa approved a month later. My actual visa processing time was only 6 months, so it looks like the clock started with the nomination submission. I'm on my own for the visa application You are not suppose to pay for MA as per the law. all costs should pay by your employer except 2nd VAC if your partner not have enough English level and probably medicals.
