I Cant recall who but you can check the spreadsheet and find out. Hi @dipen Can I ask if your occupation "retail manager" same to "Retail Buyer 639221" ? DE, NSW , LR 4 people. Mine is though an MA (fragomen). Application still showing as received. No logic to how they allocate cases. Just have to be patient. But i agree with everyone that this waiting is so painful especially as they give you no updates what so ever. We're via Fragomen as well - nom and visa lodged on 27th July 2016. Still waiting...... Ozdream1
I know it's too early for me... (even if I can't wait they start reviewing the December application...[emoji12])But I'm wondering how our applications are allocated...I thought it was based on our occupations or streams (e.g. Transition, DE), but based on the spreadsheet it looks that some people with the same occupations can get their visa in 6 months when some others wait for 1 year...I know we don't have enough information in this spreadsheet to make any assumptions but do you guys think it's a totally random process or do you think that there's other criteria (e.g. HR/LR, onshore/offshore, company size, number of applicants, age etc? Thanks

Thanks From the spreadsheet it is evident that that Applications with following combination are processed quicker than the others : "LR + Skill on Critical List + Transition". Generally, it appears to be random selection. Edited May 4, 2017 by syd2016

I used an IA for my application. I called the IA last week to inform them I had changed address and nothing was mention then. I can only assume the time from being assigned a CO to being awarded my PR was a minimal.

This is the second application for 186. Made me so nervous!
jess89
Guys quick question is it worth to give immi call to ask about file process when u supplied required doc. requested from CO & it's been while or just wait patiently as we doing now? Thankyou
AMP-ens186
I have added my occupation on the spreadsheet Marketing Specialist and i am also onshore. I am expecting a longer wait for this to be approved compared maybe to other occupations. I am however exempt from the language and skills assessment which is good. which may or may not help speed up the process once they get around to allocating my file.
