Currently IMMI is processing applications for the period Apr-Nov 2016. If you are lucky, then you might get your PR grant any moment now.

Click on my signature below for the link to spreadsheet. https://goo.gl/bFWMIY

Pls create IMMI account, use the Transaction number of your visa application that you would received from your MA/employer to import the application and check your status. If you are from Low Risk Country (UK etc) and since your application is Transition and skill falls under critical list, I expect your PR very soon.

Cheers..

Thanks Syd for this! Indeed from UK so hopefully this is the case - just feels very out of control as all communications go between IMMI and my work. Will update if i hear anything.

Thanks for letting me know about being able to import. Have done so and only showing as 'Received' and no status update since when it was submitted on 28 November - so i guess i will be waiting a little while longer!

Hi to all those waiting since over a year. I called the department today and the guy who received told me clearly that my case has not been allocated until now and will not be allocated anytime soon. He asked me whats the urgency. And obviously my reply was that its been one year and i am tired of waiting. He also mentioned that since i have an agent, calling the department for status updates is not going to help me in anyway and the best was to contact the department is via the agent. I have a feeling that because my occupation is removed from the list, they are probably waiting for the new financial year to allocate my case :(

My suggestion to you guys is that if you have an agent, try to contact the department only through them.

That's what they say every time I call them about having an agent but my agent doesn't even seem to care anymore and I'm just so [emoji51] tensed and completely over it with the waitingggg

You can call immigration and if u have an agent call through him..most of the times transition applications dont take long...as its already 6 months for u..u r very close..u can request your sponser to wait for couple of months !! All the best mate

Khushi02aug Oh! I wasn't aware of this. Its an open forum and you can voice your opinion. All we can do is share information or give suggestions based on experience. You were only trying to help others, don't feel bad or hurt. Good luck mate!

Thanks mate....i waited for 586 days to get my residency...and i know all the struggle, frustration, and hard waiting period..since came in Australia i finished two master degrees.. applied nomination by ourselves n got approved after 8 months..still had to withdraw application bcz of some missing information which our case officer took seriously n sent us a natural justice letter with a warning of being a subject of 4020.

We have no such intentions to mislead immigration just missed a document cz we were not aware of that was compulsory cz we had done everything by ourself..we withdrew application hired an agent n filed it again..n became successful after so much documentation n long wait of 8 months..i know how hard the time was.we were at the stage of losing everything .

Sometimes ,i shared the information which i think is important and can be helpful to anyone..and i dont think anyone of us try to mislead others as we all on same page..not everything has a link which said" this information is true"..some situations we know bcz we went through them.if i am helping that is all by my heart.

Since then i am not writing too much..but today i am relieved ?.

My agent sent email to immi but got no reply, called them about this issue and they said CO will send email to us if they need updated health examination. No one told us that it could be extended for 6 months! Yesterday we did it again and sent to immi. We have been waiting for 6 weeks after settling payment of VAC2, normally how long does it take to have visa granted after payment? Is there any possibility to require more documents from immi after payment? We still feel everything is possible even on this stage......or are we just too nevous and over reacted?

This was my email from immigration, i waited around 4 weeks for this reply:

Dear Mrs Bradford

Please note that health assessment for all the applicants can be extended for another 6 months as per health policy which means each family member will have following expiry dates for their health:

hope this reassures anyone who's medicals have expired.
