Current processing time for nomination

Hi there,

Is there anyone can tell me what is the typical waiting time after lodging nomination and sponsorship application currently? My employer completed that on 24th March, 2017. It is for a General Practitioner position and in South Australia. However, I am applying offshore.

I would appreciate anyone's response in this matter who has an experience.

i am after the same answer! myself and my partners was lodged on the 11th of February so nearly 8 weeks ago and we still havent heard anything back. We are also offshore.

Does anyone know the processing time for the nomination of the 457visa to be processed? 

 

My employer logged the nomination for myself & partner on 11th of February. Haven't heard anything yet.

We have just had ours lodged this week and our Immi Agent says current processing times are from 86 days to 6 months!! We are applying from the UK but with an Australian Immi Agent. Not sure why the huge time difference , maybe depends on how straightforward the application is.

6 Mos so far in my case. First time applicant for both company and myself. Might be more stringent in our case as the company has been operating in Aus with no employees (all 3rd party partners like sales agents, accounting services, etc.) for 2 years, but only had employee #1 (a local GM) last Jan.
